1. Who will be affected by this change of payment method?
The shipping charge prepayment scheme will be applicable to all magazine subscription invoices received from 18 March 2008.
2. I have an ongoing magazine subscription for which I have been paying shipping charges. How would the prepayment scheme affect my pending orders/invoices?
All existing vPOST members currently who have pending magazines on hand are to be channelled to the prepayment service. All new magazine subscriptions received will also use this prepayment service.
3. When do I make payment?
You will be notified to make prepayment upon submission of your magazine subscription invoice/s
4. Can I choose to pay for just one magazine?
The prepayment scheme applies to magazine subscriptions, i.e magazines sent to subscribers on a periodic basis. Single issued magazine purchases would not be categorised as magazine subscriptions.
5. Are cancellations and refunds allowed for shipping charges paid under the prepayment scheme?
Please note that the prepayment scheme will be effective for the total number of issues of the magazines indicated in your invoice for the subscription, and no changes to the mode of payment will be allowed for those issues of magazines indicated therein.
If you have chosen a payment mode but change your mind, do not make payment on the bill generated. Each bill is valid until the end of the day (2359hrs), so please re-generate a new bill the next day and indicate on the new bill the payment method you prefer.
However, after you have made payment on your chosen payment mode, no changes, cancellations, credits, rebates or refunds are allowed.
6. Why are cancellations and refunds not allowed?
Under the prepayment scheme, customers stand to enjoy a discount off the shipping charges based on the total number of subscription issues. No cancellation or refund is allowed once a customer is on the prepay service and pays for the shipping bill. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions of use.
