GIRO-On-Demand (GOOD) Application Instructions

  1. If you are currently on GIRO and wish to use our GIRO-On-Demand payment mode, it is advisable for you to maintain only one mode of payment for each bill account to avoid double payment.

  2. Upon receiving your application form, it will be forwarded to your bank for approval. The average processing time is 3 weeks.

  3. Once your GOOD application is approved, you can instruct your bank to deduct your bill amounts from your specified bank account. Your bank account will be deducted only when you initiate a payment transaction at your vPOST account.

  4. Please note that your deduction will be effected about 3 days from the date of your payment initiation.

  5. You can specify the amount you wish to pay and schedule it at any time to be deducted, so long as it is within 4 weeks and before the due date.
Note: Only pending payments can be cancelled and will be effected if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance.

  6. Please maintain sufficient funds in your bank account for deduction during your vPOST online payment period.

  7. For payment deductions, please refer to your bank account statement. Your deductions will be reflected as your vPOST reference number, eg. VP01234567.
