Guide to Computation of Customs GST

Singapore Customs only imposes GST on individual packages, with VS shipment numbers, imported into Singapore for which the CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) amount exceeds SGD 400.

You can consolidate* unlimited** packages, regardless of merchants, and pay only one base charge.

*Consolidation refers to consolidating of packages for payment under the same vPOST shipping bill. The physical packages may be forwarded to Singapore separately depending on the date the packages are received at the vPOST shipping address for processing.

**The number of packages you can consolidate is unlimited; however there is a consolidation period of 14 days beginning from the date your first package is processed. After the consolidation period, a holding fee of $10 per package will be imposed for every 7 days or part thereof during which the shipping charge of a package is not paid.
